CAROL BROOKS has appeared in film, TV, commercials, Off-Broadway, Off-Off Broadway, and Way-The-Hell-Off-Broadway (yes, Ohio).
Film Credits: Carol played Casey Flaherty (principal role) in the indie film "My First Kiss" which was awarded 1st Prize in the 2008 Yamagata International Film Festival (Japan). She was seen in HBO's 2003 Urban World Film Festival as wacky "New Yawk" casting director Tobe Stallone in the indie short "Big Wes." She later reprised her role as Tobe, in "The Big Wes," the feature length version of the film, which was awarded Best Mockumentary Feature Film at the 2011 Hamptons Black International Film Festival. On video/DVD, Carol learned the rules of the game, ran drills (in helmet and shoulder pads) , and explored how to deal with sports fanatics of the opposite sex in "Buy This For Your Girlfriend: Welcome to Football!" Carol recently shot a fun role of a woman making quite the scene at a funeral, in a short aptly named "Fun" (post-production).

Theatrical Credits: Carol has performed various incarnations of her original nearly one-woman show, "Me Myself & Others: Just Play Along and No One Gets Hurt!" at NYC venues (Ha! Comedy Club, PS NBC @ Here, others), adding and updating her many characters along the way. She understudied both female role's in Off-Broadway's "Jewtopia" and appeared in "Men are Dogs" (as quirky, leopard-print adorned hairstylist Alison Taylor), "The Lady Swims Today" (taking on a lead role 3 days before opening!), and "Mommies' Boys" (as a rather desperate housewife and mother.) As the unofficial Queen of Interactive Theatre, she's been seen in Off-Broadway's "Off the Wall" (principal: Theresa), and in regional productions of "Carmine 'the fish' Calamari's Funeral" (principal: Rosa) and in "Fat Frankie's Birthday Party" (principal: Bubbles Le Bod.)
Comedy Credits: Performing with and/or directing several improv and comedy groups including Shock Troupe, The Improvables, Improv This! (Stanislavsky Open Finalists), and Step Forward at Stand Up NY, New York Comedy Club, and other NYC venues.
